I believe it is wrong so keep having baby's maybe you will have a girl.Should Christian couples use any form of birth control? Is it wrong?
The closest that Scripture comes to specifically condemning birth control is Genesis chapter 38, the account of Judah's sons Er and Onan. Er married a woman named Tamar, but he was wicked and the Lord put him to death, leaving Tamar with no husband or children. Tamar was given in marriage to Er's brother, Onan, in accordance with the law of levirate marriage in Deuteronomy 25:5-6. Onan did not want to split his inheritance with any child that he might produce on his brother's behalf, so he practiced the oldest form of birth control, withdrawal. Genesis 38:10 says, “What he did was wicked in the LORD's sight; so He put him to death also.” Onan's motivation was selfish: he used Tamar for his own pleasure, but refused to perform his legal duty of creating an heir for his deceased brother. This passage is often used as evidence that God does not approve of birth control. However, it was not explicitly the act of contraception that caused the Lord to put Onan to death; it was Onan’s selfish motives behind the action.Should Christian couples use any form of birth control? Is it wrong?
Better than having children you cannot care for. People say the lord will provide, but really, your god doesn't.
And Alice, what on earth are you smoking that you say Natural Family Planning works. It's called ';Vatican Roulette'; for a reason. It's nowhere near as effective as sterlization or hormonal birth control.
No its not wrong. But christianity - like everything else should multiply. And it isn't. Islam however has 8 children per family. Christians have 1.4. That is a negative number.
Soon, all our legislators will be Islamic. I am sure that Walmart will have prayer rugs at affordable prices when we are all forced to the Islamic call to prayer (of which Obama thinks there is no more beautiful sound) 5 times per day. Y'all say goodbye to your porn, bacon, halter tops and freedom.
Married couples (Christian or not) should use Natural Family Planning as birth control. It is effective, and safe for both our bodies and the environment.
It's all a matter of personal insight.
In my opinion, if a person is concerned with the population explosion and diminishing resources, it would be bad stewardship not to take actions based on information and scientific/medical methods currently available to us.
Not wrong by my standards.
But remember the one world government wants the population decreased severely. We must take this into account when considering birth control options.
Yes they should and no it isn't wrong. We are overpopulated as it is. There is no reason or excuse to be popping out one kid a year. Plus think of how your other kids will feel.
yeah silly me i forgot jesus said
mark12:09 and jesus raised his head crying out thou shall not wear contraception, give birth to an unwanted baby is better then protection
I do not think it is wrong if they are agreed on it better to use birth control than have more children than you can SUPPORT.
only catholics and the anti abortion people cant use birth controll mostChristianss can
';Wrong';?
Not in MY opinion. Use ';any %26amp; all';. That works for me.
yes you should be responsible about the lives you create regardless of what god you believe in.
Yes it is an abomination to God and those who use such things are NOT Christians!

Happily married couples- Were you scared to get married?
And how did you know that they are the one?;-)
ThxHappily married couples- Were you scared to get married?
I was never scared, of course I was madly in love and did not know the level of responsibility that I was accepting... but I was never scared... in fact, the morning of my wedding I woke to such calmness and inner peace... I knew my wife was the one. I can't tell you how I knew other than the pain of not being with her was unbearable for me. I know that life is not always a smooth ride, there are hardships, heartaches, and mistakes that we all make... All I ever prayed to God was that he would see me fit to be the one to spend my lifetime helping my wife's road be as smooth, joyous, happy, and fulfilling as I could make... and I did not want anyone else to fill that position. I was in love with my wife from day one and nine years later I still respect the fact that she made a choice to be with me and that I know that I am the lucky one.
When we first met we lived 50 miles apart and I could only see her on weekends... That was great training because to this day I don't take my wife for granted. Love is a promise you make to someone and you have to work each day to keep that promise... To love someone, to be married, is not a choice you make once... it is a choice you make every day.Happily married couples- Were you scared to get married?
You don't know if they are the one, you know how you feel about them now, and hope that as you grow, you have the tools to grow together. Marriage is a big decision, and if you have serious doubts, I would say delay the day long enough to talk out your concerns... however, if they are just mild concerns... keep in mind no one is perfect, it's just about how those imperfections impact you over time.
No on both of my marriages. I was thrilled.
The first time I got married it was the big white wedding...my dad asked me, right before I went down the isle if I really wanted to do this, I could still back out and he would support me...he wanted me to be sure. I was. And you know, even after everything he and I went through, the divorce and all that..I am still happy I married him. I don't regret that. I regret the mistakes we made while married and even after we got a divorce.
The 2nd time I got married. We went to Vegas and it was great. Best thing I ever did in my life was to marry that man!
yes, I was a bit afraid but deep inside I know he's the one I want to be with for the rest of my life. I knew he was the one the first time we spoke, I was used to dating ';players'; but he told me ';if you're looking just to mess around then maybe we should leave this alone because I am looking for a serious relationship'; I was like wow, I never expected these words coming from a man.
I was 17, he was 20. We had been dating for a few months. I worked and went to school. One night we were watching tv and I got to thinking...I could watch tv with him forever. I like laying my head in his lap and on his shoulder. We've been married for 4 years now. I don't think I was ever scared but i'm pretty cocky about most things.
First time around.... yes. Second time round.... wild horses couldn't have stopped me. There is no such thing as cold feet, just your head trying to give you a big red flag that the other person is not the one. That's how you know.... there is no fear when you are with the love of your life. There is just happiness, excitement and contentment. They bring out all your best features and make the bad ones less noticeable.
i was sooo scared about walking down the isle in a dress and i had high heels on. but i wasnt nervous at all when i got down the isle and said my vows.
i think spartans are so hot with there lil mini skirt looking cloths and all their sweaty muscles.mmm
I knew my husband was the one when I laid my eyes on him.. When he asked me to marry him.. I knew, I wasn't scared, I wasn't nervous.. I was excited..
I was scared that my family was going to get to drunk!!
No i was excited to be getting married to my husband.
no im not but im afraid if i ever failed to make my wife happy and refuse to stay with me to the rest of my old life
Nope not at all, had zero doubt in my mind.......i just knew he was the one. 7 years later..still happily in love!
No, i wasn't scared.. i just new he was the one... it is like the 4th of july, even today when we are toghter....
Very but I had faith in his love and so far it's only gotten better.

In gay couples, who foots the bill?
This in a generalization, but when a man and a woman go on a date the man usually pays.
I was just wondering who pays in gay couples.
Does it just alternate?
Do you split it?
This isn't out of disrespect just curiosityIn gay couples, who foots the bill?
i'm pretty sure all you have to do is ask the person your with if you can pay. and if they say....';oh no it was my treat!'; then just let them and make sure to say thankyou! lol =)In gay couples, who foots the bill?
It depends solely on the couple, I'm a lesbian and find many women do not wish to feel obligated and wish to pay their own way, but most I would say follow by who asks who out. I have been on dates with ones who wish to pay their own way and have placed their share on the bill, and other who have handed me the money. Most of the time though I was the one asking the person out so I would pick up the tab.
i don't know where you live, or what time you live in, but where i'm from, even straight couples usually alternate. I don't know any younger people, that are under 40 that always pay for every date. usually they alternate, or both pay. i don't know how long it has been since only the 'man' pays. so basically, you either alternate, or both pay.
In my experience, the ';ask-er'; pays unless discussed before the date (or event) begins...regardless of the sex or orientation of the couple.
That is...successful couples who enjoy dating, each other, and leave their personal issues at home...for at least the first few dates.
;-)
i always pay for my gf even tho im a girl. because she has more bills than me, i tend to have more money left to spend than she does. although i let her pay for car parking and stuff, because she likes to contribute too. i like paying for her all the time, tho it kind of bugs her sometimes.
probably the 'asker', i'm a girl but if i ask someone out on a date with me i don't expect them to pay for it, i don't mind if they insist though...lol.. anyways, i would think the person innitiating the outing would pay.
usually the one who asks to go out or plans it, is the one who pays. usually that's the way it goes with me and my partner. not a big deal.
well.. from my experience the one most stubborn pays.. refusing to let the other pay and eventually winning the ';battle';...
All depends on who asked who out.
If i asked him out, i would pay
if he asked me out, he would pay
Usually the person who asked the other out
Or they talk about it before hand
It's really not complicated
It's just like hetero couples...it depends. For new couples usually the one who asks the other person out.
We usually talk about it before we have to go. Doeosn't really matter. :p
Who ever has the money at the time, or whoever asked for the date.
I have no idea.... good questioN!

For Married Couples: what is your best memory?
as a couple that is.For Married Couples: what is your best memory?
the times that we were in bed in the morning talking and telling each other jokes! For Married Couples: what is your best memory?
There are so many ';best memories'; of me and my husband.
But the one that's been particularly on my mind today is our first date. It was so cute. He asked me what I was doing that night, and I was hoping he would ask me on a date, so even though I'd planned to study, I told him I didn't have any plans. I asked him what he was doing that night, but I was crushed when he said ';We're going ice skating.'; Of course me in my blond little head didn't consider that his statement was his way of asking me out! So when he called me later that night asking when it was alright for him to pick me up, I was caught off guard. But, like I said, I was so excited to go on a date with him, I got ready to go, and we went out. He took me ice skating, and it was so sweet, romantic, perfect. He taught me how to ice skate, and from the moment he held my hand to help steady me on the ice, I knew he was the one. I fell in love with him completely that night. It was the perfect mix of romance, humor, everything. It's only gotten better since, but that's the memory that's been on my mind most today, since it was around Christmas, and Christmas is coming up soon.
Before we got engaged, we were planning on breaking up. So we treated ourselves to a tropical ';break up vacation';. I pretended to have a great time but I was devastated the whole time because I knew our relationship was over. Our last night there, we were standing on the balcony of our hotel room watching this amazing sunset over the ocean and he started crying and confessed that he didn't want to break up and that he wanted to be with me for good. It was the happiest moment of my life - even better than the wedding.
Two different ones... I remember when we first got married how we just couldn't get enough of each other. Our friends were disgusted because we couldn't stop kissing. We were so happy together. Then the other is when our daughter was born, the baby and I almost died, and my husband came over crying and took me by the hand and was telling me how much he loved me... and I truly believe that him being there kept me hanging on.
The best will have to be our wedding day, when i said ';I do'; to my beautiful wife this past July.It was amazing, i watched her as she gracefully walked down the aisle to meet her prince charming just eagerly awaiting her to take her hand in marriage.
Then the very next best will be our honeymoon which we spent in Hawaii, it was the most terrific 2 weeks of our lives.
Getting caught in a thunderstorm, on a motorcycle, on Jamestown Island, VA the first year we were married. It sucked but it was a good and memorable kind of suck.
When we went on a vacation and we have a very special diner by the beach with the full moon, love song and he said that he love me so much and he thank me for being his wife and he said how lucky he is...
i remember my second kid popping out fast, before the doctor arrived. the nurse and i cut the cord. the baby was cute right away, she still is 8 years later.
other than that, all i can think of is the great sex i had with other girls.
pathetic, huh?
holding our baby girl for the first time! and watching my husband cry, before she was born he acted all tough in front of everyone and told them he wouldn't. and he did! like a little girl :D

My wife wants to spend the night at another couples house, is this normal or should I be worried?
I am a Police Officer and while I am at work, working in my cities worst niegborhood, my wife spent the night at a co-worker and his wife's house. I am upset, and told her that I did not feel comportable with this. Is this normal for young married couples. My wife wants to spend the night at another couples house, is this normal or should I be worried?
First of all, thank you for working to make our communities safer and better places. I appreciate it, no matter where you are.
No, it's not normal but you need to calmly talk to her about it rather than confront her. Does she feel loney when you're working? Scared for you / your safety and need comfort from friends? Was it a case of one - too - many / too tired and couldn't drive home?
Don't force her to put up a wall over it, just talk to her and figure it out. If it turns out that it's a security blanket for her because you are in harms way, then you may need to cut her some slack. If your dept. offers spousal counseling for stress, offer to get her some.
Good luckMy wife wants to spend the night at another couples house, is this normal or should I be worried?
No it is not a normal thing.
If there is any strong convincing reason behind this then it is ok, but you have not mentioned any.
Take a closer look, and oh man you are a Cop ! you know all about criminal minds. You can find any thing fishy around you.
The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure
and the intelligent full of doubt.
It depends...maybe she doesn't feel safe being home alone at night. Ask her!!
Either she is just frightened to be alone or she is having a m茅nage 脿 trois .... Ooh la la !
once would be ok i guess. But like 4 nights a month is not.Any good reasons?
Do you trust her that she is doing just that, spending the night? If so then don't be mad. Trust her! That is what marriage is about. To no end. I know I don't like sleeping alone in a house worrying. You need to open up to her, in a non accusing tone, as her husband who loves her and tell her what you feel and then listen to her and what she says. Good Luck.
Nothing wrong in it - if you are not suspicious and trust in her tht she can protect herself.
well its hard to say.... i mean if she was forced to stay cause of circumstances then its normal.. but casually sounds odd {}
It's not normal if she is constantly doing so.. but if it only happened once because she doesn't like being alone or sleeping in an empty house or because it was too late for her to leave, then I can understand why she did it.
I would only be worried that something might be going on if this is a persistent issue.
doesnt sound normal to me. i wouldnt allow it. its the making of a disaster. somethings not right.
What happened to innocent till prooven guilty?? I dont think there is anything to worry about. She might have lost track of time, or maybe she didnt want to be alone. The only way you will know is asking. But dont interrigate her. remember this guys wife was there too. dont accuse her of anything. Maybe ask the guy too. Let him know you are not comfortable with it and rather it not happen again. Goodluck to you.
Why are you upset? You think she cheated or something?
You need the why question...
Just ask her why she did it. Maybe she drank wine and did not want to drive or felt too sleepy to drive or too foggy to drive home. Was there a storm? Were the women quilting or scrapbooking, etc?
Don't get angry - just trust, but verify.
You can mention it to the guy's wife. Something, like ';oh, my wife's your overnight visitor now...'; Watch for the reaction. The only thing I see weird is that the co-worker is male? But, maybe she is good friend's with his wife??? Quietly check it out before accusing her of anything.
Joy to you!

Joy to you!

';Annie's Song'; by John Denver . . . Google it.
You fill up my senses, like a night in the forest,
Like the mountains in spring time,
Like a walk in the rain,
Like a storm on the desert,
Like a sleepy blue ocean.
Come let me love you, come fill me again.
Come let me hold you.
Let me give my love to you.
Let me drown in your laughter,
Let me lie in your arms.
Let me lay down beside you.
Let me always be with you.
Come let me love you.
Come fill me again.

If you ammend the constution to excludes Same Sex Couples?
Then you will have to change the constitution where it says that all me are created equal to all Straight men are created equal. If you ammend the constution to excludes Same Sex Couples?
Yeah, okay, but if we are going to argue that, I would lean toward saying that it would be the only amendment restricting freedom, not granting it. The only amendment to restrict freedom is number 18, which any person who has read the Bill of Rights knows was repealed shortly thereafter. The Constitution is not made to tell us what we can't do, only what we can.If you ammend the constution to excludes Same Sex Couples?
';all me are created equal'; is not in the Constitution. It is in the Declaration of Independence.
Well actually... the phrase ';We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal'; is in the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.
huh??
Of course they didn't think of that one! They're ignorant bastards.
Whats the difference in gay marriages and business deals? Create a contract between yourselves, but please don't tell my children what you do. There is not a gay animal on the planet except some of you folks. So don't confuse the world!!!!
You got it. That's why the Senate rejected the amendment.
Boy you can tell that you have never read the Constitution. The constitution does not say that all Men are created equal.
Abraham Lincoln used that par-phrase in the Gettysburg Address '; Dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal'; That was his (Lincoln) ideology.
I agree
No you wouldn't. A gay man would have equal rights to marry a women as a straight man would.
