I'm not married but might as well be, and it's a few times a week. Maybe every other day, every 3rd day?
When I was married we never did... maybe once a month. But I didn't love him, much less like him. I think it's a personal decision but I would say a couple of times a week, minimally.
It comes and goes (no pun intenden) my husband and I will make love 4 times a week one month and then the next month maybe 3-4 times total-- We have a TV in our bedroom which really takes its toll-- But to be honest it would be more often if he iniciated it more- and I wasnt such a nag

I've been married for 10 years and we average a few times a week. I've asked my married friends and it seems the average is 2-3 times a week.
LOL.. Funny question. As depressing as it is. For me and my husband its only a couple times a month. Really there is no time. When I'm home he is not. When were both home were tired from working all the time its sad but that's what pays the bills is time and work. We adjust to it and try to make it more frequently but until we can settle down and have more time for each other.. This is how it is. Don't get me wrong. When we were dating it was alot more often. Maybe more than normal. but again we had no worries at that time either. Hope it helped!!!

Anywhere from once to 3 times a week... I guess the average is twice a week... but that's my marriage, I'm sure they're all different!

I guess I have to agree with the person above who says the average is 1.5 times a week, sounds about right!
usually 2 times a week on average.but do whatever works for your personal relationship... me and my husband are happy just doing it 2-3 times a month, but hey thats what works for us!
at first it was 3-4 times a week, now its down to about once a week. but if it was up to me it would be everyday! sometimes 2-3 times per day lol.

Newlyweds - everyday


1-3 yrs. - 4 or more times a week


4-5 yrs. 2-3 times a week


6-8 yrs. 2 times weekly


9- up - whenever they can!! Especially if they have kids who won't leave them alone long enough for them to even look at one another!!


I would LOVE to have sex more than I do, but it takes two and I don't want to do it alone!!
