Me and my boyfriend plan on getting matching tattoos. we dont know what to get. Any cool ideas... ( no names)

THanks! =)Any one know of good matching tattoos for couples??
Key and lock (the guy gets the key, the girl gets the lock).

Then at least if you DO break-up, it's not something that is totally obvious that it was a ';couple'; tattoo.

And you don't have to hear those pesky, ';Ew, you got matching tattoos?'; comments, 'cause... they don't match.Any one know of good matching tattoos for couples??
Donald and Daisy Duck, or Mickey and Minnie Mouse ( the characters) because that is how juvenile this sounds! LOL

wait til youre married - then instead of wedding rings, put the words anam cara on your ring finger - it means soul mate.
I think matching tattoos are a nice option. Complimentary stuff (e.g. lock %26amp; key) usually sucks about as much as names, but at least the world doesn't know who had the other half.

But really, without knowing what interests you have, it's hard to give *good* suggestions. There are cartoon characters, animals, symbols, words, phrases... choose something you both LOVE and go with it. You'll have it forever, even if the two of you split down the road.

My husband and I got matching dragons. It's the same dragon, in the same spot on our body. His color is just slightly different, b/c he didn't want purple wings, so got blue. Dragons have always been very significant in my life, and he enjoys them as well, so it was a good choice for us.
while i don't think it's a good idea for boyfriend/girlfriends to get matching tattoos atleast you aren't getting names. my husband and i are going to get matching tattoos i think maybe for our 7th wedding anniversary. basically we are getting something that is unique to us. i am not a fan of generic tattoos of togetherness. for example... if your thing as a couple is to go to the movies all the time you could get a film reel segment and some popcorn pieces. it would be special to you two and it wouldn't necessarily say to everybody 'this is about our love'; it'd be like your inside thing. or if you met at a coffee shop you could each get a steaming coffee cup or whatever. just something that isn't your typical ';in love'; tattoo. if you need some specific ideas email me and i'd be glad to help you think of something as well as find a talented artist in your area.

sadly not all tattooers are artists and even the BEST tattoo idea can be a crappy tattoo if it's not done by the right person. and the reverse is true about a talented artist, you can give them a truly crappy idea and they can turn it into a freaking work of art. chosing the artist is the most important thing in getting tattooed.

good luck.
My daughter and I just got matching tattoos last night on our wrists.

Each of us has 1/2 of a heart that looks like flames and is entirely black.

When we grasp hands together the two halves make a complete heart.

This has very special meaning to both of us.
my boyfriend and i got matching tattoos 2 years ago. we got bar codes on our arms. mine has my son's birthday as the code and his has his son's birthday.
For the love of God...don't get matching tattoos. There's not a quicker way to end a relationship than get matching tattoos.

if you're gonna get one anyway, get an egg timer. Cuz thats what you can use to clock how long your relationship will last after a tattoo.

its just bad karma.
Considering the divorce rate why not try getting matching pre-nup tattoos!!
GET SOMETHING THAT CORRELATES ARTISTICALLY AND INDIVIDUALLY
