And Never say never, you may find true love someday to. But as long as you stay bitter you won't. Learn to be happy with what you got and who you are, and someone may come along.

A lot of parents believe, this is the only way to offer their children stability. Personally i think that as a couple problems should be resolved to rekindle lost love, because unhappy parents breed unhappy children and will eventually teach them bad relationship habits. If all else fails leave the relationship but try and maintain peace for the sake of the children.
my husband and i are thru with loving each other, each of us loves the kids to bits and cannot allow the other to take them. so we stay married. my kids may hear us quarrel once in a while but we are mostly civil to each other, sleep in the same bed, even laugh a lot. only we dont go out together or share our deepest feelings. neither of us is in another relationship.

Well at least to compensate their own blunders in life or somehow use it as a front maybe to show to people that with kids they are a happy family nad that nothing is wrong with them and only hoping that the kids will get them closer again or maybe believing that the kids presence, somehow they do not get bored and get going...all living in denial....hard to chew such situation though!!!
I think many people do it because people tell them that it's the best thing to do. I can honestly say from personal experience that staying together for the kids screws them up pretty badly. My parents stayed together for years when they both wanted to split. Both parents later told me that my sisters %26amp; I were the reason they stayed together.





The result? I got parents that screamed at each other when they thought we were asleep or in the other room %26amp; when they weren't screaming at each other there were the really awkward silences. Oh, and don't forget the one or two times when open resentment towards my sisters %26amp; I would subtly come through. I can't see why anyone would want to deny their children the chance to experience that.
Because it is what they believe as the only way to keep the children safe and secure...

30 years. I would do a lot of things differently if I could go back in time with all of the knowledge I have now about life. The one thing I wouldn't change is marrying my husband. Believe me we've had some really bad times over the years, but he is not only the best husband a woman could ask for, he is my best friend and the best person I've ever known. He is my sanity, my strength, my happiness. And just so you know I'm not crazy, I do want to kill him at least once a day. He can make me so frustrated that I want to drop a house on his head!





So, again, I would do so many things differently in my life, in my marriage, in my education, in my timing. But regardless of those changes, without him none of them would matter.

Married 5 1/2yrs togeather 9yrs. Idk if i would do it all over again...atm my husband and i just recently got back togeather from being seperated so were trying to work on out marrige. I was wondering that too the other day. If you go to the MTV website, under SHOWS, you can pick ';Engaged %26amp; Underage'; and from there, they have a link to updates on the couples that are still together. You can even watch ';update shows';, like regular episodes. I was surprised by how many are still together, but it's only been 1-3 years for most (if not all) of them, so I guess it's not too surprising. Look, I was in a relationship for six yrs that was the most miserable time of my life. And the thing is whenever I saw a young married couple prance by me with their cute cuddely babies, I resented them and got jealous because I wanted the happiness they had. The thing is they didn't know me and it wasn't their fault that I was in such a dead end and loveless relationship. But I was feeling envy and bitterness and that was making me more miserable without me realizing it. So, instead of sitting back and watching ppl live their happy lives, while I was wasting mine on a loser, I decided to do something about it. ANd I got rid of the jerk, and started living my life for me, and not because of what others had. And I was able to open my heart up and learn to love again. And even though Ive dated another jerk or too, I don't feel that bitterness when I see happy couples because I know that it is something I may want, but I can live without. And Never say never, you may find true love someday to. But as long as you stay bitter you won't. Learn to be happy with what you got and who you are, and someone may come along.

Give your wife a membership to the local gym for her next birthday or for Christmas, whichever comes first. Give it to her with a bland expression.
A lot of parents believe, this is the only way to offer their children stability. Personally i think that as a couple problems should be resolved to rekindle lost love, because unhappy parents breed unhappy children and will eventually teach them bad relationship habits. If all else fails leave the relationship but try and maintain peace for the sake of the children.
my husband and i are thru with loving each other, each of us loves the kids to bits and cannot allow the other to take them. so we stay married. my kids may hear us quarrel once in a while but we are mostly civil to each other, sleep in the same bed, even laugh a lot. only we dont go out together or share our deepest feelings. neither of us is in another relationship.





maybe its pretense but it works for us and my kids have stability and 2 parents they can count on. i will allow them to grow up then leave. thats my sacrifice as a mother.
You sound like a bitter child. If you had any life experiences, you'd know why. Adults feel a deep need to protect their children, no matter what the cost to themselves.
If you think divorces are expensive,Try paying child support for 2 or 3 kids.So i would say cheaper to stay together even if not happy.

Well at least to compensate their own blunders in life or somehow use it as a front maybe to show to people that with kids they are a happy family nad that nothing is wrong with them and only hoping that the kids will get them closer again or maybe believing that the kids presence, somehow they do not get bored and get going...all living in denial....hard to chew such situation though!!!
I think many people do it because people tell them that it's the best thing to do. I can honestly say from personal experience that staying together for the kids screws them up pretty badly. My parents stayed together for years when they both wanted to split. Both parents later told me that my sisters %26amp; I were the reason they stayed together.





The result? I got parents that screamed at each other when they thought we were asleep or in the other room %26amp; when they weren't screaming at each other there were the really awkward silences. Oh, and don't forget the one or two times when open resentment towards my sisters %26amp; I would subtly come through. I can't see why anyone would want to deny their children the chance to experience that.
Because it is what they believe as the only way to keep the children safe and secure...
