I don't believe it's important per-say but it depends on the individuals getting married. Most vows are the same when the clergyman or whoever preforms your ceremony. But when you write your own, it's special because they are your own words. Just say how you feel. What goes through your mind when you look at the one you love? Can you imagine your life without that person to share in your life every day. Vows are words that are meant from the heart, so look deep inside yourself and find out just how you feel.
