Should Christian couples use any form of birth control? Is it wrong?

I believe it is wrong so keep having baby's maybe you will have a girl.Should Christian couples use any form of birth control? Is it wrong?
The closest that Scripture comes to specifically condemning birth control is Genesis chapter 38, the account of Judah's sons Er and Onan. Er married a woman named Tamar, but he was wicked and the Lord put him to death, leaving Tamar with no husband or children. Tamar was given in marriage to Er's brother, Onan, in accordance with the law of levirate marriage in Deuteronomy 25:5-6. Onan did not want to split his inheritance with any child that he might produce on his brother's behalf, so he practiced the oldest form of birth control, withdrawal. Genesis 38:10 says, “What he did was wicked in the LORD's sight; so He put him to death also.” Onan's motivation was selfish: he used Tamar for his own pleasure, but refused to perform his legal duty of creating an heir for his deceased brother. This passage is often used as evidence that God does not approve of birth control. However, it was not explicitly the act of contraception that caused the Lord to put Onan to death; it was Onan’s selfish motives behind the action.Should Christian couples use any form of birth control? Better than having children you cannot care for. People say the lord will provide, but really, your god doesn't.

And Alice, what on earth are you smoking that you say Natural Family Planning works. It's called ';Vatican Roulette'; for a reason. It's nowhere near as effective as sterlization or hormonal birth control.
No its not wrong. But christianity - like everything else should multiply. And it isn't. Islam however has 8 children per family. Christians have 1.4. That is a negative number.

Soon, all our legislators will be Islamic. I am sure that Walmart will have prayer rugs at affordable prices when we are all forced to the Islamic call to prayer (of which Obama thinks there is no more beautiful sound) 5 times per day. Y'all say goodbye to your porn, bacon, halter tops and freedom.
Married couples (Christian or not) should use Natural Family Planning as birth control. It is effective, and safe for both our bodies and the environment.
It's all a matter of personal insight.

In my opinion, if a person is concerned with the population explosion and diminishing resources, it would be bad stewardship not to take actions based on information and scientific/medical methods currently available to us.
Not wrong by my standards.

But remember the one world government wants the population decreased severely. We must take this into account when considering birth control options.
Yes they should and no it isn't wrong. We are overpopulated as it is. There is no reason or excuse to be popping out one kid a year. Plus think of how your other kids will feel.
yeah silly me i forgot jesus said

mark12:09 and jesus raised his head crying out thou shall not wear contraception, give birth to an unwanted baby is better then protection
I do not think it is wrong if they are agreed on it better to use birth control than have more children than you can SUPPORT.
only catholics and the anti abortion people cant use birth controll mostChristianss can
';Wrong';?

Not in MY opinion. Use ';any %26amp; all';. That works for me.
yes you should be responsible about the lives you create regardless of what god you believe in.
Yes it is an abomination to God and those who use such things are NOT Christians!
