age is not as relevant as is premarital sex.. couples that have had premarital sex have a much higher rate of divorce than those who did not have sex prior to marriage and age doesn't seem to be a factor. other things that effect marriages are financial and dysfunctional roles.. for example a husband and wife both work and have separate accounts. that causes a dysfunction in the family unit.. its one family and the man should be the head of the house, and the woman should be taking care of the house and the children.. being a mother and home maker should be her primary role if she is married.. those traditional type of marriages usually last until one partner dies.
I think if people marry young, they tend to have second thoughs on their marriage when they are 25-27. Especially women. It may be not true, but it is my personal observation.
From my observation between 30 and 40 is where I've seen the most divorces.
